Refunds
Walt membership costs EUR 10 per year, billed annually. There are no usage fees and no hidden charges. Payments are processed by Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller on your receipt and appears on your statement.
Every membership begins with a 14-day free trial. We ask for a payment method up front, but you are not charged during the trial. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. If you do not cancel, your first paid year begins automatically when the trial ends and the EUR 10 is charged.
You can cancel anytime through the billing portal linked from your Paddle receipt. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep full access until the end of the year you have paid for. We do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of a paid year.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Because your membership starts with a free trial, you can cancel within this window at no cost. By choosing to begin using Walt straight away, you ask us to start the service immediately.
This policy is not yet active, as Walt is currently free and in a beta phase. The free trial, paid memberships, and these terms take effect once tap-to-pay functionality is enabled.
Supervisory authorities
Data protection in Denmark is supervised by Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark.
Payment services are not yet active in the Walt app and are pending regulatory review. When introduced, the relevant supervisory authority will be listed here.
